Our data sources
RouteLinq presents route and performance data from the following sources. We do not alter or selectively omit data to favor any carrier.
Airline Schedule Data
Nonstop route data, departure times, frequencies, and aircraft types, is sourced from live flight schedule data, aggregating official airline schedule information from carrier publications.
Data reflects scheduled operations and may not account for very recent schedule changes.
Government Aviation Performance Data
Passenger volumes, seat capacity, departures performed, and load factors come from official US government aviation statistics, published by the Department of Transportation.
This data is published with a lag of several months. Figures presented as "2025" reflect the most recent complete data available.
Weather Data
Current weather conditions on airport pages come from a third-party weather data provider based on public meteorological forecast models.
Not intended for flight planning. Always verify with official sources.
TSA Security Wait Estimates
TSA security wait time indicators use a time-of-day model based on historical TSA checkpoint congestion patterns. These are estimates, not real-time data.
Always allow extra time. Check the official TSA app for current conditions.
Accuracy and corrections
We make every effort to ensure route and performance data on RouteLinq is accurate and current. If you find a factual error, a route that doesn't operate, incorrect schedule information, or a data discrepancy, we want to know. We investigate and correct errors promptly.

Editorial independence
RouteLinq analysis reflects the independent judgment of its author based on publicly available data. We do not accept travel industry briefings, press trips, or other forms of hospitality that could compromise our ability to write independently about the US aviation market.
We will not adjust, soften, or suppress analysis based on pressure from airlines, airports, or any other industry participant. Our only obligation is to accuracy and to our readers.
